Mark S. Cohen, a partner in the firm, represents a broad range of business and nonprofit clients and individuals in tax and commercial matters and estate planning. He has extensive experience in real estate finance and development projects, representing investors, lenders, developers, and other parties, including projects involving historic rehabilitation and low-income housing tax credit equity syndication, tax-exempt financing, the eb-5 program, and other funding tools. Mr. Cohen has lectured on topics in both tax and nonprofit corporation law, and has held leadership positions on numerous nonprofit boards. Before joining the firm in 2002, Mr. Cohen was chairman of the Tax Department at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, LLP, where he had practiced for seventeen years.
